Below are the primary services Medical Billing Z offers, however not all of the services are required.  If an office already employs a EMR system, they is no prerequisite to use the Medical Billing Z EMR.
 

Claims submission- Medical Billing Z submits claims electronically, with an electronic date and time stamp and tracks them to ensure they reach their destination and makes sure that they are paid in a timely fashion. All claims are scrubbed by at least two independent computer programs to ensure accurate and current coding.  This greatly reduces the number of rejected claims. 

Accounts Receivable Management- Medical Billing Z won’t just submit claims. Medical Billing Z tracks and follows up on claims, ensuring that you get paid.  The claims are tracked and followed from start to end. 

Management Reports-  Medical Billing Z provides you with regular reports showing how much has been billed out, how much has been collected, and financial reports to improve cash flow, efficiency and productivity.

Coding Analysis- Medical Billing Z will monitor the codes being utilized by physician’s and offer advice on changes to help create higher reimbursement for physicians.  We want to make sure physicians are not only charging for, but being paid properly for the work that they do.

Electronic Medical Records-  Medical Billing Z can supply different EMR systems to physicians, befitting their practice styles, thus ensuring not to slow them down like conventional EMRs.
One combines the ease and familiarity of paper, with the speed and space-saving efficiency of an EMR. Fee tickets can still be handwritten and then simply scanned into the system.  A chart note and an electronic superbill are then created, stored and submitted.
The other is a more “classical” computer based WinTel system.  Chart notes are created from custom templates that pull in patient information.  This greatly speeds up and eases the process of documentation and can even lower dictation costs. 
Either way gone are the hassles and costs of paper charts. Additionally, unlike other, typical, expensive EMR systems, all eligible customers of Medical Billing Z will receive an EMR system free of charge.

Patient Scheduling-  Along with an EMR system, Medical Billing Z also provides a complimentary patient scheduling system that is integrated with the EMR and Practice Management systems. The scheduler comes with many features such as a “co-pay catcher”.  Co-pays can account for almost 1/3 of practice revenues, and many are never collected because either the front office staff or the patient forgot.

Patient Invoicing- Medical Billing Z creates and sends out patient statements informing patients of their responsibility. Patients can also contact Medical Billing Z if they have billing questions or concerns on their accounts.  We have also developed a FAQ page on our website devoted to frequently asked patient questions.
