Benefits and privileges of International Membership of Poggio dei Medici

Membership of Poggio dei Medici Golf and Country Club was initially limited to 150 local Tuscan residents. This domestic membership is now fully subscribed. We are now ng membership of this exclusive club to the international golfing community. This letter is your personal invitation to join our Club.

As an International Member you will enjoy the following benefits and privileges:

1. All year round free use of the golf course, Clubhouse and other leisure facilities when in residence at the Club.
2. Invitation to participate in regular club and international competitions including, when held, the Pro-Am preceding the Ladies ItalianTournament, playing alongside some of the world's leading Lady professional golfers.
3. Seven days complimentary accommodation in a Club Apartment. These apartments are decorated and equipped to the highest standards. Each apartment offers a living room and kitchenette in addition to the bedroom and en-suite bathroom. The apartments are serviced daily and are designed for comfortable living for two people.
4. At the beginning of each year International Members are invited to reserve the seven days that they wish to take up, with Saturday arrival and departing after seven nights on the following Saturday. Subject to availability and agreement with the International Club Secretary, the seven days may be taken as two long weekends.
   You may accumulate this complimentary accommodation for up to two years to allow a fourteen days stay in alternate years
5. International Members may extend their stay each year beyond the seven-day membership period by paying the prevailing "hotel" accommodation rate per day, less a 25% members' discount.
6. Members pay no green fees whilst in residence at the Club. A guest fee is required for
   non-members, introduced and playing with members. This is a 50% discount on the normal visitor fee.
7. International members are provided with Personal Liability Insurance cover whilst playing at the Club.
8. An International members and their guest will have complimentary access to the swimming Club and the five court tennis Club.
9. A travel assistance desk to arrange recreational and cultural sightseeing and tranfers to and from airports available to International Members meet at competitive prices.
10. Every year International Member will receive six bottles of exclusive Castello di Santa Maria Novella Chianti wine, which will be held in the Members' wine cellar for their personal use.

Terms and conditions for International Membership of Poggio dei Medici:

• International Membership is limited, and is subject to approval by the Membership Committee to ensure a balance between the golf playing countries.
• International Founder Membership is now offered currently at a joining fee of $20,000.
• The current "annual subscription" and "administration fee" is $300. Both the joining fee and annual subscription is payable by credit card or cheque.
• It is offered for a period of 20 years, after which it may be renewed at the then prevailing fee less a 50% discount.
• It is transferable and can be re-sold to a third party, subject to the approval of the International Membership Committee and payment of an administration fee.

You are now invited to apply for International Founder Membership by completing the attached application form and returning it to the Chairman of the International Membership Committee. Your application would then be considered by the Membership Committee. When you are approved you will be asked for the joining fee and first year annual subscription. On receipt of these you will receive a members' pack including a certificate of Membership. You can then immediately begin to enjoy the unique privileges of Membership.
